The service in question has now appeared as the root in the Object Browser. By expanding the item in question a list of associated objects is displayed. These objects may be effected by the service shutdown and the owners of these objects may need to be notified. The owner of the machine responsible for the service shutdown can be notified to have the service restarted. The service can be restarted by changing the State Property to "Running" and saving the change.
