Diskdump Component Description The Diskdump component moves system memory to disk following a system crash or error in which a blue screen appears. It also writes memory to disk during hibernation.

If Diskdump is not included, you cannot write a crashdump file or hibernate the system.

This component contains the Diskdump.sys file, which is a driver file used by the storage port drivers.
