<P>
AppleTalk protocol is the layer of AppleTalk Phase2 protocols that delivers data to its destination on the network. The computer running Windows with AppleTalk protocol can also provide routing and seed routing support. An AppleTalk router broadcasts routing information, such as network addresses, and keeps track of and directs data packets on AppleTalk networks. Seed routers perform these functions and also seed the physical networks on which they reside.
